My Amnesia Girl Trailer

Just this afternoon, I went to my Facebook and found this video from You Tube.  I re-shared this video and a lot of my FB friends liked it.  All I can say with the video is "Hindi tayo tao! Bagay na bagay! :)"

At first, I thought it was Bea Alonzo that usually paired up with John Lloyd Cruz but it's Toni Gonzaga.  A narrator introduced a question, "Naalala mo pa nung una kayong magkita?" then it was seconded by, "Naalala mo pa ba nung nagkakadevelopan na?", the third, "Naalala mo pa ba nung kayo na?" and the last, "Eh siya?"




When the trailer was done, I conclude that John Lloyd Cruz and Toni Gonzaga are a cute pair.  I never thought that they could have a cute chemistry.  Well, because the story is more on romantic-comedy.  My first impression of the movie, it reminded me of the 50 First Dates but it is not early to judge since the two characters in the story started as strangers, became friends and fell in love with each other.  We still don't know how the story goes when the girl will be having her amnesia.
Honestly, I keep on repeating the trailer because I could relate some of the situations (not the amnesia part). With the questions asked by the narrator in the trailer (4th question not included), I can't help but smile.  Throwing corny joke or dialogue is a good way of flirting only if the guy is as cute as John Lloyd Cruz (tehee ^_^).  I would gladly throw back corny jokes to him just what like Toni Gonzaga did.
I like it when they were on the church when Irene thanked God for Apollo (burger and French fries were also our first snack date).  I love it when Irene smelled the t-shirt of Apollo.  I love it when Apollo squeezed the cheek of Irene and kissed her.  I love it when Irene was riding at the back of Apollo.  All these things stated on the paragraph has significance with my love life too.

Manny Villar thanked Baby James Aquino-Yap for an unexpected endorsement. Baby James is the son of Kris Aquino and the basketball player James Yap and nephew of the Senator, Noynoy Aquino for running the Presidency.

Ricky Martin Announced Online He is Gay

Ricky Martin, the Livin' La Vida Loca singer, proudly announced via twitter that he is proud to be a homosexual. What led him to go public is because of his writing and his twin sons.

He kept his sexuality private all over his career. He is very happy now of what he is today. A lot of people are very open to their homosexuality and feel contentment already about it.

Adam Lambert Lost his Humility

I got stuck on Adam Lambert when he joined the 8th season of American Idol. I was very fond of him because he is really handsome and also admired him with his awesome performance. I really bet that he would be the American Idol for the season. I also admired him for his humility every time the judges of American Idol praised his unpredictable performances. Even though he is gay, I still believe with his talent and that being gay is not a hindrance of his singing career as long as he stays being humble. During the finals, I was sad that he ended as the runner-up.

He is very open for being gay, I respect that, but I was disappointed when he kissed a guy during a performance. I was shocked because it was on tv and the possibility that children were also watching the performance. It wasn't the Adam Lambert that I saw on American Idol. The Adam Lambert today is the "I don't care what other people say as long as I am me." The "I don't care what other people say..." may be true but I guess he should think first on what he is going to say or do if he is not offending other people.

Recently, he commented on Susan Boyle's album that it is terrible. He said that he was crying with laughter when he first heard "Wild Horses" from the Rolling Stone's classics. Adam Lambert has no right to say that. To think, he is still starting after the American Idol. How many years did he already spent on Hollywood for giving that comment to Susan Boyle, who was also ended as runner up in Britain's Got Talent?

It is said that Adam Lambert may be jealous of Susan Boyle because his album, For Your Entertainment, was out of the top spot by Boyle's I Dreamed a Dream on US charts. No doubt that Susan Boyle's I Dreamed a Dream is already 4x platinum and sold for over 4 million copies only in the United States.

Britney Spears, After the Controversies of her Life

I was just having an online job while went to YouTube to look for songs to hear. I typed Britney Spears on the search engine. There are lot of new songs from her which is my first time to hear like the song Mannequin. I found a video on her concert at Hilsinki, Finland last 2009.

After the controversies, from married to divorced life, having kids and losing their custody, scandals, and etc., on 2007 she released her album entitled Blackout and until now she is still in the peak of her success, as a singer.

The Princess and the Frog Review

Walt Disney has introduced the new and first African-American Disney Princess in the movie, The Princess and the Frog. I watched it three nights ago and it is really different from the classic Disney Princesses we witnessed from Cinderella, Snow White and among others. It is adapted from the story The Frog Prince. It is so funny that when Tiana, the main heroine of the movie, kissed Prince Naveen (who turned into a frog) she also turned into a frog. To those who still haven't watch the movie, you must watch this.

Angelica Panganiban as Rubi

Rubi is a Mexican telenovela on 2004 played by Barbara Mori (see image at the right) and was a really big hit in the Philippines. She is very beautiful and very seductive woman. I love the plot of the story and watched the telenovela from the beginning until the end.





Lots of foreign telenovelas were adapted by ABS-CBN from Korea and Mexico. I was thinking if Rubi will be having its version. Now, it's already possible and I am excited about it. It will be played by Angelica Panganiban (see image at the left) for this year of 2010. The character really suits her. I remember when she played as Scarlet dela Rhea of Iisa Pa Lamang and she's really an effective contra bida. This time, it's Angelica's time to shine.

The Sinulog 2010 Experience

Some may of you went to Cebu to experience the Sinulog 2010 by going to the Sto. Niño Church for the mass. People of Cebu are so devoted to the child Jesus.



As you can see on the pictures above, to accommodate thousands of people attending the mass, there is a bigger venue.

The 30th celebration of the Sinulog was a big success with extra surprises at the end of the show. Foreigners were so amazed with the festival and they keep coming back every year just to witness this colorful event. Maybe next year, the organizer of Sinulog will find a way for a bigger venue.

Showtime is Back for Tomorrow

Showtime was replaced temporarily by MAGPASIKAT with the same hosts and staff. Before the show ended, the director of the show, was handling a brown envelope. The madlang sikat and the hosts were shouting and excited what's inside the envelope. After that, they formally announced that for tomorrow, Showtime is back. The hosts and the madlang sikat are very happy for the good news and I'm sure the televiewers are also glad for the returning of the show.

ABS-CBN's Showtime Suspended for 20 Days

Happy New Year by the way! Hahaha! What a late greeting here in the Opinions of a Young Lass. Happy Sinulog to all Cebuanos out there and to all visitors who are coming to Cebu.

I am saddened by the suspension of Showtime because of Rosanna Roces' remarkable statement against teachers on January 7, 2010. Actually I never watched it for I was at work at that time. When I went to youtube.com and searched for it, I was shocked with the words she uttered on her mouth.

There are some things that Osang, as people call her, got the point. But she should slowed down her words and think of what to say so as not to hurt others. That's the mistake that she had already done.

New Moon, Movie Trip

At last, I saw the movie New Moon last Saturday, December 12. Funny because I knew that almost of you already watched it on November.

What can I say about the movie? I was kind of sad on the last part when Jacob and Edward already faced to faced with Bella. I really cried when Jacob wants Bella to choose between staying as a mortal or wants to get bitten by a vampire and being a patch on Bella's broken heart.

I don't know why but I felt the emotion of Jacob being hurt. I've never been a patch in my life. I almost got to say, "Can I have Jacob for good?"

Aga Muhlach Talked about Governance under Arroyo Administration

This is a clip I've seen in YouTube. I am just curious about Aga Muhlach's opinion. This is a video clip from Straight Talk in 2007. The language used in this conversation is Filipino so I have translated it to English so that foreigners can understand what the conversation is all about. Please see below after the video.

Host: It's very rare to happen that a showbiz personality and

Aga Muhlach: Sometimes it's sad because even though how hard
you try to make for a living, how progressive we are making
to our life, but if you look around you, you may be weakened
because of your country. It's too much, but I am really affected.

It's really hideous to see around you, you may think, how will I
save if I have no place to stay for? You have a beautiful house,
a car, what will you do with those things if there are people killing
in front of you?

though I will vote for this person, if they really want to win, their
money will do the move, not my vote.

I feel that, honestly, it's useless because whatever you do, the
people in the higher position, whatever they wish or do are still
their command. What I mean to say is, the people knew who were
stealing, who's doing evil but nothing happened. You are just watching it,
so what are you going to do now?

Ten years ago, what do Philippines looked like? Now, it's different.
What more for another ten years? Ten years from now, what will
Philippines look like? So, where are we now?

Host: They're angry, people feel bad about it?

Aga Muhlach: People feel bad about it, it is because they have
no money, they don't have the capability, they are insecure, they
can't move, they feel that nobody listens to them. What I mean
to say, example, people of 5,000 are having a rally. It's just
5,000 compare to the people who are really in poverty.

I still believe that there is God, of course. He will fix it. I still
believe in the law of karma. To those who are doing evil, I'm sorry.
To those who are in the position, you did nothing but only to
boast like you're wise.

Host: Say it, don't be shy, STEALING.

Aga Muhlach: I mean to say, enough! Have a little pity, just a
little bit, just 10% of the stealing, give it to the poor.

Philippines has a huge land. Now, for sure, the government owns it.
I just want to imply, this government...

Host: All of the government, maybe they will mistaken you that
you're talking about a particular administration...

Aga Muhlach: No, no, it's not, the whole, the governance. Yes,
what I mean to say, well, the person who is in the position. Even if it's
the past, the present and who ever will be the next. Who ever is in
the position right now, you were put there to fix the Philippines.

Host: You are obviously very frustrated...

Aga Muhlach: So why are you going to take this? There's load of
money, don't tell that there's no money, that's why people are
getting mad because you say it's poverty.

Adam Lambert Kissing a Guy at AMA Performance

I've been an Adam Lambert fan since American Idol. Rumors scattered that he is gay with the racy pictures of him on the internet. I didn't believe it first but he confirmed he really is. Although I was a little bit disappointed but still supported him through the contest because I believe him with his talent. He did great performances on AI that's why I liked him.

Even though he is really open with his sexuality, I guess he is just really TOO MUCH OPEN on the American Music Awards 2009's performance. I just didn't expect him to kiss a guy on the live audience, SO MUCH MORE ON NATIONAL TELEVISION.



Why some people are in rage with Adam Lambert's kissing a keyboardist/guitarist than with Madonna/Britney Spears' Kissing?

I don't know their answers but if you ask me, here is my opinion. We all knew that Madonna and Britney Spears had a collaboration with the song Me Against the Music. They did a live performance and also kissed on stage. It was also shocking though when I saw it. They're not lesbians. During her interview with CNN on 2003, she said she never kissed on a woman before. She also said that she wouldn't do it again but maybe with Madonna. But their friendship already ended in 2006 so as the scandal just faded away. So no more kissing between them live in the future. Hehehe!

With Adam Lambert, if he already did it on AMA Performance, then there would be a chance to do it in the future. Maybe with different guys. OH COME ON! I don't want to see him, in every performance, kissing a guy. I REALLY DON'T LIKE IT. His image now is different way back on AI, the not so-really-gay. Gosh!

On American Idol, I really find Adam so sexy especially the way he interprets the song with his own rendition. He is the most talented guy among the group. But on his performance at AMA, I never find him sexy anymore. It was a kind of sexual performance, a guy to guy thing and I am not used of seeing it.

I respect gays for being gays and undeniably they love boys as much as the girls do. Kissing on public??? I think the world has really lost its conservatism.

The only conclusion I have, I AM REALLY DISAPPOINTED WITH HIM. T_T

Fergie is Like a Goddess

I am so out-of-date with the latest music of today because of my busy life. I never had the time to watch music channels where I could easily get most of the songs and on the radio, I just wonder who sing the song.

After the I Gotta Feeling fever from Black Eyed Peas, here is the new song entitled Meet Me Halfway. My sister told me this about a month ago of their music video. This is just the time that I logged in to YouTube and searched for their new video.

Fergie is like a goddess on the video. Woah! I just love her so much. She's so beautiful.

Willie Revillame Won't Run for 2010 Election

It is clear by now that Willie Revillame won't run for any position for the next year's election.

He said in an interview that he is thinking how can he give happiness to people like now that he is going to Las Vegas for a Wowowee tour especially to those people there who can't go home in our country. He also said that if there's time, may be not now, maybe someday, maybe after three years, maybe after six years, it depends.

Good thing that he listened to Dolphy's advise.

Dolphy's Advise to Willie Revillame in Entering Politics

Willie Revillame is the host of the number one noontime show of ABS-CBN which is Wowowee. I am a viewer and enjoy the show so much. His live audience really love him. We saw that a fan made a poem for him how she really idolize Willie.

In this coming election, Sen. Manny Villar is waiting for the confirmation of Mr. Wowowee to be his running mate as vice-president or as one of his senators. Willie is very active joining the senator on his projects, nowadays.

Dolphy, the Comedy King, advised Willie that if possible, he should not join the dirty tricks of politics. He also said that Willie had given too much happiness and help to the people. He should continue this in the entertainment world and no need for being vice-president or senator.

Dolphy is right. Willie should listen to him. We all knew that Willie is living in controversial life and giving happiness to people is admired enough. Also he should listen to his daughter, Meryll, who told him not to get involved politics.

Basia Live in Manila on October 21 at the Big Dome

She's one of my favorite jazz musician. I first heard her song "Time and Tide" on the radio and saw her music video on MTV. I'm just easily addicted to Jazz Music.

Basia is a Polish singer-songwriter, real name is Barbara Trzetrzelewska. She's here in the Philippines for a concert entitled Basia Live in Manila: It's that Girl Again. Oh my! It's tomorrow. I can't even go. Hehehe! Wish I could go there and watch her show.

She is famously known with her trademark Latin-flavoured jazz-pop crossover songs during the late 1980s and early 1990s. Her first top selling solo album was Time and Tide.

Sex Scandal, Spreading Like Virus

Sex scandals are spreading like virus. A virus which all people are not afraid of, instead are very fond of it. Sex scandals are made by celebrities, politicians and some are just ordinary people such as students, couples, acquaintances and etc.

On the videos, we see that these people are really enjoying what they were doing. Feels like they were the star of their own show. What's so funny about it when the public see their show, they felt sorry for their own disgusting doings (*disgusting for it should be private). Hypocrisy sets in.

I really don't know why some people do these. When in fact sex is a private act. What happened to Hayden Kho and Katrina Halili (who didn't know about the video) is one example.

Katrina Halili is a celebrity, a sexy actress, a magazine cover girl for men like FHM and MAXIM but I believe that she had no knowledge about filming their private scene just as same as Maricar Reyes who never said a word about the controversy and just continued her acting career.

When I saw Hayden Kho as the new boyfriend of Dra. Vicki Belo, I was just shocked. He has a good face, so young and my first impression of him was like an innocent boy but is he a man with dark, deep secrets? Is he just too good to be true for Belo? I just asked myself if there's really love between Kho and Belo. Or it's just because Belo is just so famous and his digging the money of her. I thought he would never go to show business but I was wrong. He entered a talent show which he was paired with Katrina Halili (and the rest is now history).

When the controversy appeared, I was right about Hayden. It was so awful to see him on the camera saying sorry for what he had done with Katrina and to the rest of the girls who were involved on the sex tapes.
